"Be ye well assured all that the solution, when it is found, will be unquestionable. It will be marked by the most sublime simplicity, and carry immediate conviction."
Aleister Crowley
Four sums. 121 years hidden in plain sight.
R (18) + 4 = V (22)
P (16) + 6 = V (22)
S (19) + 3 = V (22)
T (20) + 8 = B (28 mod 26 = 2)
V V V B
666 + Beth = The House of the Beast
V = Vau = 6 in Hebrew. VVV = 6+6+6 = 666. B = Beth = House.

Why This Is Not Coincidence

The key is inside the cipher

The key [4, 6, 3, 8] are literally the first four elements of the cipher itself. No external key was invented. It was always there.

Triple convergence

Three different letters — R(18), P(16), S(19) — with three different shifts — +4, +6, +3 — all produce the same letter: V.

Of 6,561 possible 4-digit keys tested against RPST, only 33 produce triple convergence to any letter. Of those 33, only one exists inside the cipher itself: 4638.

Y confirms independently

Y(25) - 3 = 22 = V
Y(25) + 3 = 28 mod 26 = 2 = B

Y produces both V and B independently, without using the key 4638. The same answer by a completely different path.

ALGMOR = VVV

A(1)+L(12)+G(7)+M(13)+O(15)+R(18) = 66
V(22)+V(22)+V(22) = 66

ALGMOR's ordinal sum equals VVV's ordinal sum. The cipher declares its own result a third independent way.

Self-verification: 123 = 123

X(10) + 24 + 89 = 123
RPST(73) + OVAL(50) = 123

The numbers say 123. The letters say 123. The cipher checks itself.

Monte Carlo: p < 0.0001

500,000 random ciphers with identical structure were generated. Convergence to V specifically: 0.022%. 10,000 null-hypothesis ciphers tested for internal equation density: zero matched the real cipher. p-value < 0.0001.

The Four Keys of III:47

Key 1 — The Cipher

4638 + RPST = VVVB = 666 + Beth = The House of the Beast.

Caesar shift. The first four elements are the key.

Key 2 — The Line

"This line drawn is a key." The diagonal line on manuscript page III:16 measures 17° from vertical.

17 × 4 = 68 = VVVB (ordinal). The line confirms the cipher.

Key 3 — The Circle Squared

"This circle squared in its failure is a key also." V/G = 22/7 = π (classical approximation). The failure — π is irrational — is the key.

22 paths / 7 planets = the structure of the Tree of Life.

Key 4 — Abrahadabra

"It shall be his child & that strangely." 418 is mathematically derived from VVVB.

418 = VVVB(68) × V(6) + X(10)
418 = B(2) × K(11) × S(19) — born from the cipher's own letters.

The Closed Circuit

Each key verifies the others. No key stands alone.

Cipher(68) ÷ 4 = Line(17)
Line(17) × 24 + 10 = Abrahadabra(418)
Abrahadabra(418) = B × K × S = Cipher letters
28 elements = 11(Abrahadabra) + 17(Line)

Verify It Yourself

You don't need to trust anyone. Run this.

# The cipher from Liber AL vel Legis, II:76 cipher = "4 6 3 8 A B K 2 4 A L G M O R 3 Y X 24 89 R P S T O V A L" # The key: first four numbers key = [4, 6, 3, 8] # The target: RPST (positions 21-24) target = ['R', 'P', 'S', 'T'] # Caesar shift for letter, shift in zip(target, key): val = ord(letter) - 64 result = ((val + shift - 1) % 26) + 1 print(f"{letter}({val}) + {shift} = {result} = {chr(result + 64)}") # Output: # R(18) + 4 = 22 = V # P(16) + 6 = 22 = V # S(19) + 3 = 22 = V # T(20) + 8 = 2 = B
The cipher:  4 6 3 8 … R P S T …
4 6 3 8 W F S S N I J S E U
Same key. Same operation. Same conviction.
